Kapil Sharma's Cafe Targeted: Shots Fired at Kapil Sharma's Cafe, Gang Claims Responsibility

Kapil Sharma's Cafe Targeted: Kapil Sharma's café in Canada has reportedly been attacked twice in less than a month. The attacks are allegedly linked to a dispute involving the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who claims the incidents are a result of Sharma's association with Salman Khan.

SURREY, CANADA - Comedian Kapil Sharma's newly opened café, Kap's Cafe in Surrey, has been targeted in a shooting for the second time in less than a month, with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claiming responsibility for the most recent attack. The gang has allegedly linked the incident to Sharma's association with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

The latest attack occurred early Thursday morning when unidentified gunmen fired approximately 25 shots at the cafe, shattering windows but fortunately causing no injuries to the staff inside. Following the shooting, a social media post, reportedly from a Bishnoi gang member named Goldy Dhillon, surfaced claiming responsibility. The post allegedly warned that a "next action" would be taken in Mumbai if the targets continued to ignore their calls.

An audio clip, widely reported in the media, allegedly features another Bishnoi gang member, Harry Boxer, threatening anyone who works with Salman Khan. Boxer warned that "If anyone works with Salman, whether a small-time actor or a small-time director, we will not spare anyone. We will kill them." The threats are a direct result of Salman Khan's appearance on the inaugural episode of the third season of "The Great Indian Kapil Show," which premiered on June 21st.

This is not the first time Kap's Cafe has been targeted. The first shooting, on July 10, was claimed by Harjit Singh Laddi, a member of the Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), who cited derogatory remarks made by a character on Sharma's show about Nihang Sikhs.

The recent incidents have brought renewed attention to the ongoing threats against Salman Khan from the Bishnoi gang, which stems from the 1998 blackbuck hunting case. Mumbai authorities are reportedly taking the latest threats seriously, with security agencies investigating the matter. Meanwhile, Surrey police are continuing their investigation into the attacks on the cafe.
