Yatra.com gets Salman Khan as stakeholder and brand ambassador. The superstar will be the face of Yatra.com’s new marketing campaign in India and the US to be launched in April
Chulbul Pandey. Lovely Singh. And now Mr. Yatra. The industry’s most versatile star of recent times, Salman Khan, is all set to embark on a new yatra as the brand ambassador of India’s leading company in the online travel space, Yatra.com. The superstar, who has set the box office cash registers ringing, will be the face of Yatra.com’s new marketing campaign in India and the US.

Salman Khan will not only be Yatra.com’s brand ambassador but will also come on board as a shareholder in the company.
"I am really excited about my association with Yatra.com. This is not a normal brand association, where I am there just for face value. With Yatra, I am also now a shareholder," said Salman in a statement.
"I have immense confidence on the brand and am hopeful that the association will be beneficial for the both of us," he added.
The 'Dabangg' star's NGO, Being Human, too will benefit from this association.
As part of the endeavour, Yatra.com will contribute a token amount to Being Human every time a transaction takes place on their website. The company will also sell Being Human merchandise on its website, the sale of which, again, will be contributed to the NGO. Customers can show their support for the initiative by logging on to www.yatra.com.
Yatra.com, which has already cemented its presence in the online travel industry, is further building its position through the partnership with Salman Khan. The association is part of a well thought-out strategy to strengthen the company’s connect with the masses and increase the brand’s recall value in tier 2 and tier 3 towns.
Commenting on the association with Salman Khan, Dhruv Shringi, CEO & Co- founder, Yatra.com said, “We are delighted to have Salman Khan as part of the Yatra family both as a brand ambassador and shareholder. We have always wanted expand to newer mass markets and associating with Salman Khan would enable us to do the same.”
Yatra.com will be launching their new marketing campaign with Salman Khan in April. The ad leverages Salman’s flamboyance and signature style to the hilt and with an accent on rib tickling humor is sure to elevate the brand communication to new heights.

DHOOM:3 Shooting Begins May 2012 As Planned
Aamir Khan ‘Dhoom 3’ has been in the news right from the time it was launched. First it was the casting coup of having Aamir Khan as the baddie. Then came the suspense over the leading lady and after much speculation it was Katrina Kaif who walked away with the coveted offer. A few weeks ago it was reported that Yash Raj Films (YRF), the makers, had indefinitely postponed the film as Aamir Khan wanted to concentrate on other projects first.
However now YRF has come out with a clarification that states that the shooting of the film will start in May 2012 as scheduled and Aamir will join the sets in June.
Below is the official statement from YRF
It is unfortunate that without checking, a leading morning broadsheet irresponsibly declared that the shooting of DHOOM:3 had been indefinitely postponed and that it would be shot after Aamir Khan completes certain other future commitments.
This is absolutely baseless.
DHOOM:3 starts shooting in May 2012 and Aamir Khan joins the schedule in June as per plan.
Produced by Aditya Chopra, DHOOM:3 is written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who had also written DHOOM & DHOOM:2.
Apart from Aamir Khan, who plays the anti-hero in the film, and Katrina Kaif, both Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will continue in their now iconic roles of Jai Dixit and Ali.
The film is slated for a 2013 release.

Pictures of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone Shooting For Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani
Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone spotted shooting for Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani at the Hadimba temple in Manali
It was the same place from where Madhoo lost her on-screen love Arvind Swamy in Mani Ratnam’s 1992 blockbuster Roja. But for Ayaan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani, the Hadimba temple in Manali transformed into a platform for former off-screen lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone to reunite. More Bollywood News >>
It was a cool yet sunny Friday morning in the hill station when we spotted Ranbir and Dippy in the temple compound. And despite heavy security hired specially to keep the inquisitive paparazzi away, we couldn’t stop ourselves from getting a few clicks. Unlike in Roja, where the same temple was made to resemble a relatively less populated area in Jammu and Kashmir, this particular shoot was carried out in midst of the generally populated tourist spot. Deepika, sporting a less glamorous bespectacled look, stood near a tea stall for the scene, while Ranbir was spotted on the stairs leading up to the temple. In the scene, the two actors were supposed to oversee a wedding taking place inside the temple.
Prior to this, the crew had hired a few helicopters on Thursday, which had landed inside the resort complex where the entire cast and crew had been staying for the past six days. They even carried out a few trial runs of the helicopter scene.
Ranbir and Deepika, along with director Ayaan and the entire crew of the film, had arrived at the hill station by road from Chandigarh. After a couple of days of script reading, the shoot was scheduled to begin on March 20.
Now Dippy and Ranbir, who had tried to stay away from each other ever since they broke up, have been making serious efforts at being ‘friends again’ after they signed the film. In fact, for a recent party in Mumbai (of course, before they left for Chandigarh), they had contrived to reach at the same time from two far away locations in a city not known for its easy traffic. Looks like the camaraderie moved to the pretty little hill station as well.
The day after they reached, Mirror spotted the former lovers and two others at Johnson’s Café, chilling in the early hours. Ranbir and Deepika did not mind posing for a few pictures with eager fans either.
Interestingly, Mirror learnt that Deepika had ordered for some grilled fish along with dal tadka and a Chinese dish to the hotel that had been entirely booked by Dharma Productions for the film cast and crew. Now that’s what we call a truly global palate.
