Bollywood Actor Saif Ali Khan Stabbed Multiple Times in Home Invasion 

Mumbai, India - Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was critically injured early Thursday morning when he was stabbed multiple times by an intruder at his residence in Bandra West, Mumbai.

The incident occurred around 2:30 AM when the assailant entered the actor's home. A scuffle ensued, resulting in Saif Ali Khan sustaining serious injuries, including two deep stab wounds on his back, one dangerously close to his spine. He also suffered a minor injury on his neck. 

Khan's son, Ibrahim, reportedly rushed him to Lilavati Hospital in an auto-rickshaw with the knife still lodged in his back. 

"We removed a 2.5-inch piece of knife from the spine," Dr. Nitin Dange, one of the neurosurgeons who operated on the actor, told the media. "The spinal fluid leaked out, and we had to repair the spinal injury. We also performed plastic surgeries on his hand and neck." 

Hospital officials confirmed that Khan is out of danger and recovering well.  


Police Investigation Underway

The Bandra police have registered an FIR and launched a full-scale investigation into the incident. Seven teams have been formed to apprehend the suspect. 

"This was a clear case of attempted robbery," a senior police official stated. "The motive appears to be robbery, but we are investigating all possible angles."

The incident has sent shockwaves through the Bollywood community, raising concerns about the safety and security of celebrities in their homes.
