Filmmaker Anees Bazmee Remembers a 40-Year Friendship

Director Anees Bazmee, who worked with Asrani on films like Welcome, shared a deeply personal tribute, recalling the actor's warmth both on and off-screen.

"I'm deeply saddened. He was a fantastic actor and an equally great human being. I've known him for 40 years. He had a trademark style of laughing that no one else could do. I'll miss him a lot," Bazmee told PTI.
