While wishing Happy Birthday to Dilip Kumar & best wishes for long healthy & happy life for him and Saira Bano, I wish to record my feelings for Nanda. Recently I watched some movies of Nanda and have developed stong & intense liking for her. To me she is the most outstanding actress I have ever watched. Such actresses are rarely born and once born become non imitable. To me now in 65 years of age while Nanda has travelled 73rd stages of her life, she is most pompous and glamorous full of exceptional acting talents. She is the artist of all ages and all times never to recede in delusion of grandeur in annals of time. She is an inspirational light from which everybody like me draw strength and if at any moment of time this light stopped glowing where those basking on this light will find their place. Nanda is therefoe, immortal and with all splendor and grandeur with which she has lived so far would never vanish and would remain unforgettable. It is very cruel and crude to call her actress of yester years, old actress of 1960s or living in shadows. Great Nanda, the legend of the legends and highly adorable goddess to me, has given so much that every tribute will fall short of words to describe her truly.

Great Nanda! There was a famous song filmed on you - "Tum hamain piyar karo yaa naa karo, ham tumhain piyar kiyay jain gey, chahey qismat main khushi ho keh na ho.." Wah Nandaji you have proved it true. You are such a great lady who selflessly gave to the world with all exceptional glamour and glitter every love, smiles and pleasures to happily live and rejoice, but for your ownself chose sacrifice and tragedies in life.
