A determined 18-year-old Sushmita Sen brought India glory when she won the Miss Universe title in 1994. She became the first Indian woman to be honoured with the crown.
Sushmita Sen is a role model on and off the screen. Youngsters look up to her for fashion statements and lessons on public conduct. At 42, she is probably more popular than she was two decades ago.
Her popularity was once again visible when she visited St Andrews College in Mumbai and students greeted Sushmita Sen with her own songs. She resisted the urge to break into a dance for a while and then decided to let her hair down. The students complimented her moves and together they all created a video full of happy vibes.
Sen tweeted the video on Thursday.
