In a magnificent setting at the Sahara Shahar on the banks of river Gomti here, political leaders and Bollywood personalities assembled to celebrate the marriage of industrialist Subrata Roy's niece.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya led the horde of B-town celebs - Sridevi accompanied by her husband Boney Kapoor and brother-in-law Anil, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Hema Malini, Raj Babbar, Gulshan Grover and Anu Malik - who gathered to congratulate the bride Sivanka and Karan, the groom.
Among sportsmen were former Indian skipper Saurav Ganguli, cricketer RP Singh and hockey star Dhanraj Pillai.
The Sahara Shahar had seen a similar verve and colour at the weddings of the two sons of Roy a few years ago.
