The buzz in Hyderabad is that the Mirzas want to serve 32 dishes, apart from dessert, to guests attending the reception. There’ll be a few Pakistani food too, just so that Jamaai Raja Shoaib feels at home.
BIRYANI AND MORE
According to sources, the family wanted 32 dishes, apart from dessert and icecream, on the menu. This will include three to four typically Pakistani varieties like korma and karahi (mutton cooked in tomato sauce), as the family is keen to have guests taste dishes that are popular in Malik’s home country. Hyderabadi biryani, of course, will be the main attraction. There will be a dance programme after the reception.
Guests have already started arriving at the Mirzas’ house in Jubilee Hills and they will be treated to biryani every day till the reception. The family got four bags of basmati rice delivered at home from Begum Bazaar on Thursday morning.
