Ayesha Takia tied the knot with long time boyfriend and restaurateur Farhan Azmi. The nikaah ceremony took place on Sunday, March 1, at Farhan's Colaba restaurant and was attended only by close family and friends.

However, a grand reception was held at the CCI lawns yesterday (March 2) night and needless to say Bollywood made its presence felt in large numbers. Amoung the Bollywood bigwigs who made it to wish the couple were Abhishek Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, Sanjay and Manyata Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Riteish Deshmukh, Raj Babbar, Dino Morea, Bharat Shah, Imtiaz Ali and Nagesh Kukunoor.

Given the fact that the groom's father Abu Azmi is an active politician, a number of political heavyweight were also present on this occasion.

Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state.
