Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur wedding celebrations kicked off with a sangeet ceremony on December 11. Held at the La Mode banquet in Juhu, a western Mumbai suburb, the do was an intimate family affair. The soon-to-be married couple were all smiles as they arrived for the ceremony together. Before they made their marriage plans official, the couple had been very secretive about their relationship. The star couple will reportedly get married in both Tamilian and Punjabi ceremonies. The wedding will be another close-guarded affair. While Kapur wore an embroidered kurta for the do, Vidya looked stunning in a traditional Pattu sari for the occasion. Son Of Sardaar (SOS) Box Office Figures For Day 2, BO Collections Review For SOS Son Of Sardaar did very well on its second day showing a 70% jump on day two as it collected around 14-14.50 crore nett as per early estimates taking its two day total to 23 crore nett approx. The film is doing very well in East Punjab, Rajasthan, Bihar, CI and Rajasthan. The collections in Delhi/UP are also super strong in terms of occupancies though the figures are not huge due to the chain of theatres being low collecting theatres. It will have a good run in Delhi/UP. The business is not so strong in West Bengal, Mysore and Tamil Nadu/Kerala but being a North film that is expected.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan Day Two Box Office Figures/Collections Review Jab Tak Hai Jaan collected around 19-19.50 crore nett on its second day (Frist Wednesday) at the box office as per early estimates, taking its two day figure to around 32 crore nett. The film showed big growth all over apart from the circuits which were strong on day one. The growth at the box office on day two for JTHJ is around 50% which is good but mass circuits did not show the growth they should have. Going by the trends on Wednesday, the film is likely to fair best in the big cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore. Basically the clash has split the market Jab Tak Hai Jaan set to do better in some pockets and Son Of Sardaar set to do better in other pockets.

Son Of Sardaar First Day Box Office Business Box Office Report of Son Of Sardaar Box: Son Of Sardaar collected around 8.50 crore nett at the box office on day one as per early estimates. Again like Jab Tak Hai Jaan the film was hit by Diwali Puja, actually it was affected more by Diwali Puja as its best business was in circuits that are hit hard by Diwali festivities like East Punjab, CI and Rajasthan. The clash with Jab Tak Hai Jaan also hurt the film especially UP where the lack of good single screens meant business remained behind Jab Tak Hai Jaan when it should have been going by trends in MP where the release was balanced and Son Of Sardaar came out ahead. Veteran director Yash Chopra has been cremated Mumbai's Vile Parle crematorium. Mr Chopra died of multi organ failure on Sunday (October 22). The legendary filmmaker’s final journey took place in the presence of teary-eyed friends, family and fans, who came to pay their last respects. Mr Chopra's body covered with flowers and garlands, was taken to the crematorium in an ambulance from Yash Raj Studios. The late director's body had been kept overnight at the studios for people to pay their last respects.
