Subhash Ghai threw a party to celebrate not one but 2 occasions - his 30th wedding anniversary and the 30th anniversary of Mukta Arts. The Yuvraaj cast of Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Zayed Khan came in to wish their director. We could not help but observe Salman's long hair and that he has taken to hairbands in a big way. Close friends of Suhbash Ghai, Shreyas Talpade, Jachie Shroff, Paritosh Painter and Alka Yagnik too were present.

Box Office Report of Dum Maro Dum : 'Dum Maaro Dum' opens to dull houses. Despite the fact that Friday is a National Holiday, DUM MAARO DUM opened below the mark at the box office in the first and afternoon shows on friday morning at major centres of the country. Of course, the opening trends of DUM MAARO DUM were better than Abhishek Bachchan's last release GAME, but that's no compliment. The occupancy at multiplexes was slightly better, especially at metros, in 30% to 35% range, while single screens were between 10% - 15% - 20%. The average opening, thus, stands at 25% - 30%, which is poor. In view of the fact that it's a National Holiday, the morning and noon shows of DUM MAARO DUM should've started on 50% - 60% note at least. The terrific promotions as well as no major opposition to contend with are two factors that should have gone in its favor.
