Kareena Kapoor Khan Issues Statement Following Saif Ali Khan's Attack

Mumbai, India - Following the shocking incident where actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed at his residence, his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, released an official statement on her Instagram account.


The statement acknowledged the attempted burglary at their home, saying There was an attempted burglary in Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's residence last night. It went on to assure the public that the rest of the family, including Kareena, and their sons Taimur and Jeh, were safe and unharmed.   

Kareena Kapoor Khan's team emphasized the challenging nature of the situation for the family, urging the media and paparazzi to refrain from speculation and excessive coverage. The statement read, "It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage."  

Recognizing the public's concern, the statement expressed gratitude for the support while emphasizing that the constant scrutiny and attention are "not only overwhelming but also pose a significant risk to our safety." It concluded with a plea for respect, stating: "I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family. I would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation during this sensitive time." - Kareena Kapoor Khan  

This statement reflects the family's need for privacy and respect as they navigate this traumatic experience.

The focus on the ongoing police investigation was also emphasized, urging patience and restraint while the authorities conducted their inquiries.
