Mumbai, January 21, 2025 - In a heartwarming display of gratitude, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan personally thanked the auto-rickshaw driver Bhajan Singh Rana who came to his aid after a terrifying home invasion earlier this month.

Saif Ali Khan was stabbed multiple times on the morning of January 16th when an intruder broke into his Bandra residence. A panicked bystander hailed an auto-rickshaw driven by Bhajan Singh Rana, who bravely navigated the chaotic scene and rushed the injured actor to Lilavati Hospital.

Rana, unaware of his passenger's celebrity status, acted with quick thinking and compassion, ensuring Khan received urgent medical attention. The actor underwent two surgeries and spent six days recovering in the hospital.

Today, just before his discharge, Khan met with Rana to express his sincere gratitude. Photos captured a smiling Khan warmly embracing Rana, a testament to the bond formed in a moment of crisis.

"His family was there, and they treated me with respect," Rana told reporters. "His mother and children seemed very worried. I told him, 'Get well soon.'"

Khan's spokesperson confirmed the meeting, stating, "Saif is incredibly grateful to Mr. Rana for his swift action and bravery. He truly believes that Mr. Rana played a crucial role in saving his life."
