Monday night the cast and crew of Ghajini held asuccess for raking in a staggering Rs 200 crore in just 14 days.
Ghajini is on its way to become one of Bollywood's biggest money earners ever and Aamir Khan flew down from Bangalore only to be a part of the celebration. “I am thrilled. I am finding it very difficult to express what I am feeling because it is a very emotional moment. I am not someone who reacts to numbers,” Aamir said.
Apart form the cast and crew of the film, theatre owners form across India who had contributed to the success of the film were also invited to be a part of the celebration. And as a token of appreciation they were give palm imprints of the actor and director along with theirs to seal their moment of success.
Aamir also took the opportunity to congratulate AR Rahman on winning the Golden Globe Award. “My congratulations to Rahman. It's great to see excellence being recognised anywhere in the world. Rahman is truly a talent from India and we should be proud of him,” Aamir said.
So while Aamir is proud of Rahman, many are proud of Aamir for touching the Rs 200-crore mark in just two weeks.
