Salman Khan, Living Like a President in Sri Lanka, Shooting For 'Ready'

Salman gets suite upgrade because of security concerns

Salman Khan was moved to a snazzier suite while shooting in Colombo, Sri Lanka for the first schedule of Anees Bazmee's Ready.

The bigger suite has a private garden, a gym, and a kitchen. It will also house a workstation with a computer and an Internet setup so the actor can stay connected to the outside world. A source adds, "He also gets a personal chef and a team of assistants to tend to his needs."

The actor had been put up in a normal suite at the Cinnamon Grand in the Lankan capital city. Producer Bhushan Kumar confirms the move -- from a 'Regular' suite to the 'Presidential' one, which is as big as a villa. "Yes, he's staying at the Presidential Suite at the hotel."

Apparently, security concerns (Khan offended some people by attending an awards event held there this year) and the producers (T-Series) wanting to make Salman feel at home prompted this move. The shoot continues till mid-July.

Ajay Kapoor of T-Series adds, "He's like family to us, so we will go all out to make sure he has a comfortable stay during the shoot of Ready."
