Deepika Padukone, her mother and sister test COVID-19 positive; father Prakash Padukone hospitalised.

The rest of Deepika Padukone's family members, including her mother Ujjala, father Prakash Padukone, and sister Anisha are also COVID-19 positive.

Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone, who is currently in her home town Bengaluru, has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19. The rest of her family members, including her mother Ujjala, father Prakash Padukone, and sister Anisha are also COVID-19 positive.

Former badminton champion Prakash Padukone is reportedly hospitalised at the moment, seeking treatment for COVID-19.

 Bollywood photographer and content creator Viral Bhayani had put out a post on Instagram informing that the star family is down with COVID-19.


Vimal Kumar, a friend of Padukone has told news agency PTI that: "Around 10 days back, Prakash, his wife (Ujjala), and second daughter (Anisha), developed symptoms and got themselves tested and the results came out to be positive He is okay now. All his parameters are fine, his wife and daughter are at home and he too will be hopefully discharged in 2-3 days."

 No official confirmation of the development has been given by any of Deepika's family members.

Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state. The state government challenged his acquittal; it wants him to be imprisoned to serve the rest of his sentence - after being convicted in 2007 for hunting down and killing the chinkaras, he was awarded a one-year prison term and a five-year prison term respectively. HYDERABAD: The Shoaib Malik-Ayesha Siddiqui tangle turned murkier on Sunday with the latter slapping serious charges against the Pakistani cricketer with the police. Acting on the complaint filed late in the afternoon, the Banjara Hills police registered cases against Malik under sections 498A (subjecting married woman to cruelty), 420 (cheating) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC. Police said Ayesha has alleged that Shoaib married her, then harassed her over petty issues and later denied the nikah ever took place. Now, the complaint says, Shoaib is trying to marry again without her consent. Ayesha also alleged that Shoaib had offered her $1 million to keep the wedding under wraps and threatened to take her life in case she went to the media. A copy of the nikahnama was attached to the complaint, which was signed by Ayesha and brought to the police by her father. Soon after the success of 'Jolly LLB' the makers had announced a sequel to the movie. While Arshad Warsi was to play the protagonist in the sequel, the makers later replaced him with Akshay Kumar as they wanted a bigger star this time.
