Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's highly anticipated patriotic military action drama, reportedly based on the India-China Galwan Valley clash of 2020, has found its leading lady in actress Chitrangda Singh. According to various reports, including one from India Today, Chitrangda Singh has been finalized for the pivotal role in the film, which is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia, known for his gritty action dramas like "Shootout at Lokhandwala."
The untitled film is said to be inspired by the Galwan chapter from the book "India's Most Fearless 3," co-authored by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. Salman Khan is reportedly set to portray the real-life character of Colonel B. Santosh Babu, the commanding officer of the 16 Bihar Regiment, who bravely led Indian troops during the intense conflict.
