Mumbai, India - The Khan family is set to expand! After weeks of speculation, actor-producer Arbaaz Khan has officially confirmed that he and his wife, celebrity makeup artist Sshura Khan, are expecting their first child together. The joyous news comes just months after their intimate wedding in December 2023, and has been met with an outpouring of congratulations from fans and the industry alike.

Rumours about Sshura's pregnancy had been swirling for some time, fueled by paparazzi sightings where she was seen outside clinics and, more recently, at public events with Arbaaz, prompting photographers to offer their well wishes. While the couple initially remained tight-lipped, Arbaaz, 57, has now put all speculation to rest.


In a recent interview, Arbaaz expressed his excitement and happiness about this new chapter. "Yes, it is there. I'm not denying that information because right now it's something that is out there, my family knows about it. People have got to know about it, and it's fine. It's pretty evident also. It's a very exciting time in both our lives. We are happy and excited. We're going to welcome this new life into our lives," he stated.

This will be Arbaaz's second child. He shares a 22-year-old son, Arhaan Khan, with his ex-wife, Malaika Arora. Reflecting on becoming a father again after a considerable gap, Arbaaz admitted to feeling a mix of nerves and renewed joy. "Everybody tends to be nervous. Any person would feel (the nerves); I'm also getting into fatherhood now after some time. It's a fresh new feeling for me all over again. I'm excited. I'm happy and I'm looking forward. It's just giving me a new sense of happiness or responsibility. I'm kind of liking that."

He also emphasized his commitment to being a supportive and present parent. "I hope to be around for the child, be attentive, probably caring, loving, and do the best to provide for the child. That's all that I want to be," he shared.

Arbaaz and Sshura tied the knot in a private nikah ceremony at Arpita Khan Sharma's residence in Mumbai, surrounded by close family and friends. Their wedding pictures, shared by Arbaaz, quickly went viral, radiating warmth and happiness.

As the couple embarks on this beautiful new journey, the Bollywood fraternity and fans are looking Forward to more updates and sending their best wishes to Arbaaz and Sshura.
