Riya Sen: Time for 'hole'abaloo

-

She has been making news for being the object of attention of several high profile men (After all, getting a biggie like Salman Rushdie spinning around her tiny finger is no mean job!). So when a radiant Riya Sen came visiting apna city for the launch of the seventh edition of Mcdowell's Signature Club Championship at Delhi Golf Club, we had a mass jaw dropping session happening.Dressed in a revealing corset top and a pair of denims, the petite actress kept asking her cues when she marked a promotional shot only to end up saying, "The hole is in the wrong place." Well, darling, we surely can't comment on the hole but your sports skills are certainly not in the right place!

Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state. The state government challenged his acquittal; it wants him to be imprisoned to serve the rest of his sentence - after being convicted in 2007 for hunting down and killing the chinkaras, he was awarded a one-year prison term and a five-year prison term respectively. He then spent a week in jail in Jodhpur before being granted bail. While finding him not guilty, the High Court had said there was no evidence to prove that the animals who were found dead were shot by Mr Khan's licensed gun. A key witness, the driver of the jeep that was us...

Box office Report of Ra.One No First Day Box office Record For Ra.One. Ra 1 makes approx 14.63 crore at the box office on Day 1 of release Ra.One will not set a new first day record as the final day 1 collections coming in are well off record pace especially in North and Central India. Some circuits are 50% short of Bodyguard while others are similar. Ra.One has collected around 14-15 crore nett on its first day as per early estimates. The collections are only for its Hindi version and regional version may have added around 1 crore nett. It may turn out to be the second or third highest first day ever but around 30% less than the record of Bodyguard which released 2 months back comparing like and like and just its Hindi version. South India has fared best comparatively while in North India the first day collections are lower than Ready and Yamla Pagla Deewana as well as Bodyguard for the films released in 2011. Diwali puja could have contributed to the lower collections however, given ...

Reaction of Nikunj Malik to Rahul Mahajan's Wedding With Dimpy Ganguly

-
Image
Here is Nikunj Malik's Interview After the Swayamvar... Nikunj Mallik Mysteriously, Rahul Mahajan seemed like great marriage material to besotted young girls (or they put up a very good act, at any rate) on Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega. Nikunj Malik, one of the three finalists, decided to stop looking at him through rose-tinted glasses and is now rather vocal about her dislike. She says, “I feel Dimpy is perfect for Rahul as both have similar habits and lifestyles, which is not very acceptable to me. Though Rahul was quite interested in me, which was quite evident, I realised he’s not the kind of person I’d like to spend my life with.” A man never changes his spots, darling, so what possessed her to go for someone like Rahul? She says, “For the past two years, there has been no negative publicity about him. When at 35, a man wants to settle down and have a family, that worked for me. He is a nice man, but it’s obvious there is no visible improvement. It was the drinking, smoking and C...

Dum Maro Dum Box Office Collections Report/Review

-
Image
Box Office Report of Dum Maro Dum : 'Dum Maaro Dum' opens to dull houses. Despite the fact that Friday is a National Holiday, DUM MAARO DUM opened below the mark at the box office in the first and afternoon shows on friday morning at major centres of the country. Of course, the opening trends of DUM MAARO DUM were better than Abhishek Bachchan's last release GAME, but that's no compliment. The occupancy at multiplexes was slightly better, especially at metros, in 30% to 35% range, while single screens were between 10% - 15% - 20%. The average opening, thus, stands at 25% - 30%, which is poor. In view of the fact that it's a National Holiday, the morning and noon shows of DUM MAARO DUM should've started on 50% - 60% note at least. The terrific promotions as well as no major opposition to contend with are two factors that should have gone in its favor. But Punjabi film DHARTI, starring Jimmy Sheirgill [in North India] and Telugu film MR. PERFECT, starring Prabhas ...
