The Tiger is Back: The first teaser trailer of Salman Khan's upcoming film 'Ek Tha Tiger' was out on May 11 on youtube. And it's explosive! The video packs enough punch to steal your breath away and Salman Khan is simply superb.

Needless to say, the teaser created immediate buzz online and has already crossed 2lakh hits on Youtube. The excited director, Kabir Khan tweeted, “Thank u for the overwhelming response to #EkThaTiger teaser... There r so many tweets that today its impossible to reply individually... :-)(sic)."

“YouTube view meter jammed within 3 mins of launch,YRF server in danger of crashing,trending 15 mins after launch... That`s Tiger for you :-)(sic)” an excited Khan tweeted moments after posting the link.

Video: Salman roars in 'Ek Tha Tiger' Trailer, Teaser gets roaring response



Directed by Kabir Khan, Ek Tha Tiger stars Salman and Katrina Kaif in lead roles and has been produced by Aditya Chopra.

The first teaser video which was made available online on Thursday night begins with a narrative of the history of four wars between India and Pakistan before giving a brief on another war, a proxy one, fought between the two nations on daily basis, the war between the intelligence agencies of the two countries: India's RAW and Pakistan's ISI - in Salman's inimitable voice.

As the video progresses, Salman makes an entry looking dashing with a keffiyeh wrapped around his neck. There is some slick action.

The movie will release this Eid, which is on August 20. It is not only expected to be the Salman's biggest hit, but also hopes to surpass Aamir Khan's '3 Idiots' at the box office.

Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state. The state government challenged his acquittal; it wants him to be imprisoned to serve the rest of his sentence - after being convicted in 2007 for hunting down and killing the chinkaras, he was awarded a one-year prison term and a five-year prison term respectively. He then spent a week in jail in Jodhpur before being granted bail. While finding him not guilty, the High Court had said there was no evidence to prove that the animals who were found dead were shot by Mr Khan's licensed gun. Box Office Report of Dum Maro Dum : 'Dum Maaro Dum' opens to dull houses. Despite the fact that Friday is a National Holiday, DUM MAARO DUM opened below the mark at the box office in the first and afternoon shows on friday morning at major centres of the country. Of course, the opening trends of DUM MAARO DUM were better than Abhishek Bachchan's last release GAME, but that's no compliment. The occupancy at multiplexes was slightly better, especially at metros, in 30% to 35% range, while single screens were between 10% - 15% - 20%. The average opening, thus, stands at 25% - 30%, which is poor. In view of the fact that it's a National Holiday, the morning and noon shows of DUM MAARO DUM should've started on 50% - 60% note at least. The terrific promotions as well as no major opposition to contend with are two factors that should have gone in its favor.
