It's a girl: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcome their first child

 Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot on April 14, 2022, after being in a relationship for many years. Now, the couple has become proud parents to baby girl. 

Congratulations are in order! Bollywood star couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are now parents to a beautiful baby girl. 

The duo or their teams have not given any confirmation yet, but reports said that the couple have welcomed their baby girl. Amid numerous speculations, the fans were waiting with bated breath for Baby Bhatt-Kapoor. The couple reached a private hospital in Mumbai to welcome their first child on Sunday morning. Bhatt's mother Soni Razdan was also spotted at the hospital. 

 The pair, after dating for more than four years, tied the knot on April 14 at Ranbir's Mumbai residence 'Vastu' in an intimate ceremony. Just after two months after their marriage, in June, the 'Darlings' star took the world by surprise when she announced her pregnancy with a picture featuring her hubby and her soon-to-be baby's sonogram on Instagram. Soon after, she also launched a line of maternity wear under her sustainable kidswear brand Edamama. 

Alia-Ranbir have had a successful year with their releases. They made their first on-screen debut in the sci-fi action film 'Brahmastra: Part 1- Shiva', which gathered a positive response from the audience. Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, the film also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in the lead roles. 'Brahmastra' is now available for streaming on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. 

On the work front, Bhatt will be next seen in director Karan Johar's 'Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' - alongside Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan. She will also make India proud with her Hollywood debut in Gal Gadot-starrer 'Heart of Stone', set to be released in 2023. 

On the other hand, Kapoor is busy working for director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's gangster drama 'Animal' opposite Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. He will be seen in director Luv Ranjan's untitled romantic comedy film alongside Shraddha Kapoor.
