I Can Convince Salman to Get Married, says Aamir Khan- If I put in my best effort

While Salman has often expressed his "love" for his singledom, his friend Aamir has many a times said he wants the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" star to get married.

Bollywood star Aamir Khan says if he puts in his “best efforts”, he may succeed in convincing his close friend Salman Khan to tie the knot.

While Salman, 50, has often expressed his “love” for his singledom, his friend Aamir has many a times said he wants the “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” star to get married.

When asked if he would want to ask his friend Salman to get married, Aamir said, “I haven’t really tried yet. I have only told him. I have not fully tried yet. If I put in my best efforts, I will be successful.”

The “PK” star was speaking at a press conference held to mark his 51st birthday.

Aamir will be next seen in “Dangal”, where he will play the role of a wrestler.

Interestingly, Salman Khan will also be seen in the avatar of a wrestler in Yash Raj Films’ “Sultan“.

Salman plays Haryanvi wrestler Sultan Ali Khan in the movie, slated to hit theatres this July.

Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state. The state government challenged his acquittal; it wants him to be imprisoned to serve the rest of his sentence - after being convicted in 2007 for hunting down and killing the chinkaras, he was awarded a one-year prison term and a five-year prison term respectively. He then spent a week in jail in Jodhpur before being granted bail. While finding him not guilty, the High Court had said there was no evidence to prove that the animals who were found dead were shot by Mr Khan's licensed gun. Box Office Report of Dum Maro Dum : 'Dum Maaro Dum' opens to dull houses. Despite the fact that Friday is a National Holiday, DUM MAARO DUM opened below the mark at the box office in the first and afternoon shows on friday morning at major centres of the country. Of course, the opening trends of DUM MAARO DUM were better than Abhishek Bachchan's last release GAME, but that's no compliment. The occupancy at multiplexes was slightly better, especially at metros, in 30% to 35% range, while single screens were between 10% - 15% - 20%. The average opening, thus, stands at 25% - 30%, which is poor. In view of the fact that it's a National Holiday, the morning and noon shows of DUM MAARO DUM should've started on 50% - 60% note at least. The terrific promotions as well as no major opposition to contend with are two factors that should have gone in its favor.
