The controversy was further fueled when Kangana Ranaut weighed in with a strong message on her Instagram Stories. Without holding back, she shared the video and wrote, "Most spoilt and privileged woman. People put up with her tantrums/nonsense just because she is @amitabhbachchan ji's wife. That Samajwadi topi looks like a rooster comb, while she looks like a rooster cock!! Such disgrace and shame."

Kangana's post directly criticized Jaya Bachchan's behavior, suggesting it was enabled by her celebrity status and her marriage to a superstar. The comment reignited the long-standing public feud between the two actresses, which first escalated in 2020 during a parliamentary debate on drug use in the film industry.

At that time, Jaya Bachchan had famously delivered a speech in the Rajya Sabha, where she said, "People make a hole in the same plate they eat in. I completely disagree", referring to Kangana Ranaut going against the film industry. Kangana had responded sharply on social media, questioning which "plate" Jaya Bachchan was referring to and implying that the industry had offered her only "two-minute roles" in exchange for favors.

The current incident has once again brought to light the complex relationship between celebrities and the public, as well as the personal tensions that often play out in the media. Many people on social media have applauded Kangana for speaking her mind.
