Kylie Minogue Lunched With Akshay Kumar and Wife Twinkle Khanna

Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue landed in Mumbai early yesterday morning. Seen here in a dotted blue dress at Akshay's residence, the Grammy Award winner lunched with Akki and his wife, Tina and their close friends from the industry, plus the Blue crew yesterday afternoon. Kylie has recorded a song for Akshay's underwater thriller Blue, which is being directed by Anthony D'Souza. Akshay apparently even decided to do some of the cooking himself for his special guest.

Ra 1 makes approx 14.63 crore at the box office on Day 1 of release Ra.One will not set a new first day record as the final day 1 collections coming in are well off record pace especially in North and Central India. Some circuits are 50% short of Bodyguard while others are similar. Ra.One has collected around 14-15 crore nett on its first day as per early estimates. Despite the fact that Friday is a National Holiday, DUM MAARO DUM opened below the mark at the box office in the first and afternoon shows on friday morning at major centres of the country. Of course, the opening trends of DUM MAARO DUM were better than Abhishek Bachchan's last release GAME, but that's no compliment. The occupancy at multiplexes was slightly better, especially at metros, in 30% to 35% range, while single screens were between 10% - 15% - 20%. The average opening, thus, stands at 25% - 30%, which is poor. In view of the fact that it's a National Holiday, the morning and noon shows of DUM MAARO DUM should've started on 50% - 60% note at least.
