Arrest Threat For Sania-Shoaib on Visit to Pakistan After Marriage
Ayesha's lawyer in Pakistan Farooq Hassan has issued a fresh threat. Hassan says he has the evidence to prove the Shoaib-Ayesha marriage had taken place and if Shoaib marries again without Ayesha's consent, he can be punished under Pakistan laws.

More trouble brewed for Sania Mirza and Shaoib Malik as they now face a threat of arrest if they visit Pakistan after marriage. Shoaib already been slapped with a legal notice by Ayesha Siddiqui, who claims to be his ‘first wife’.
Ayesha’s lawyer Farooq Hasan has warned of warrants against Sania and Shoaib if they visit Pakistan after marriage, without Shoaib obtaining ‘divorce’ from Ayesha.
Hasan claimed that he can prove that Shoaib had married Ayesha and Shoaib is liable to be punished under Pakistan laws if he marries again without divorcing his first wife.
Ayesha’s family on Saturday issued a legal notice to Shoaib, asking him to give a public divorce to Ayesha before marrying Sania.
The fast-paced developments had led to reports that the Sania-Shoaib wedding, scheduled at Hyderabad on April 15, had been shifted to Dubai, especially as Shoaib’s family expressed reservations over visiting India. However, the Maliks denied any such change in venue and Shoaib even flew over to Hyderabad on Saturday to assuage any further speculations.
Reports from Hyderabad said that wedding preparations were on in full swing at the Jubilee Hills residence of the Mirzas.
Bride-to-be Sania has, however, been firm in her support for the beau and said, “Me and my family know what the truth is, we have known it all along and we have confidence in God’s justice.”
Controversies started ever since Indian tennis ace Sania and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib announced of their decision to marry last month.
Hyderabad girl Ayesha was the first to rake up trouble for the couple, when she and her family claimed that Shoaib had married her over phone but later dumped her due to 'weight issues'.
