Freida Pinto Says She Isn't 'Beautiful Enough' To Play a Bond Girl.

'Slumdog Millionaire' star Freida Pinto is "flattered" by rumours linking her to a role in the new 007 movie but insists that she is not "beautiful" enough to play a Bond girl.

"It was very flattering. I don't know if I would have done it. I am too young to be a Bond girl and you need someone more mature and beautiful than me," starpulse.com quoted Frieda as saying.

Well, we don't know about the beautiful part, but somone younger than Freida (who's 26) has played a Bond girl. British actress Gemma Arterton was just 22 when she played Strawberry Fields in 'Quantam of Solace'. Wonder what Freida has to say about that?

Frieda was recently reported to have signed up to play Daniel Craig's love interest in the next James Bond blockbuster, which will be directed by Sam Mendes.

A representative for the actress dismissed the rumours, confirming that Pinto has "not been approached" by Bond bosses.

Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state. The state government challenged his acquittal; it wants him to be imprisoned to serve the rest of his sentence - after being convicted in 2007 for hunting down and killing the chinkaras, he was awarded a one-year prison term and a five-year prison term respectively. He then spent a week in jail in Jodhpur before being granted bail. Despite the fact that Friday is a National Holiday, DUM MAARO DUM opened below the mark at the box office in the first and afternoon shows on friday morning at major centres of the country. Of course, the opening trends of DUM MAARO DUM were better than Abhishek Bachchan's last release GAME, but that's no compliment. The occupancy at multiplexes was slightly better, especially at metros, in 30% to 35% range, while single screens were between 10% - 15% - 20%. The average opening, thus, stands at 25% - 30%, which is poor. In view of the fact that it's a National Holiday, the morning and noon shows of DUM MAARO DUM should've started on 50% - 60% note at least. The terrific promotions as well as no major opposition to contend with are two factors that should have gone in its favor.
