Rajasmita Kar Wins Dance India Dance 3 2012

The search for India's best dancer finally came to an end when 21-year-old Rajasmita Kar was declared the winner at the grand finale of third season of Zee TV's dance reality show Dance India Dance.

The Odisha girl beat Pradeep Gurung, 24, from Assam, Raghav Juyal, 20, from Dehradun, Sanam Johar, 20, of Delhi and Mohena Singh, 23, from Madhya Pradesh's Rewa to walk away with the winner's trophy and Maruti Ertiga car. The show had started off with 18 contestants.

However, Mohena got a cash prize of Rs.3 lakh for the best desired performance of the season.

The finale was hosted by Saumya Tandon and Jay Bhanushali, who opened the show with their dance performances. Judges and mentors Geeta Kapoor, Remo D'Souza and Terence Lewis also created magic with their spectacular acts, while grand master Mithun Chakraborty was seen applauding the performances.

Actor Anil Kapoor came to promote his forthcoming release Tezz and support the finalists.

The winners of first two seasons of the show were Salman Khan from Bangalore and Shakti Mohan from Mumbai.

Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state. The state government challenged his acquittal; it wants him to be imprisoned to serve the rest of his sentence - after being convicted in 2007 for hunting down and killing the chinkaras, he was awarded a one-year prison term and a five-year prison term respectively. He then spent a week in jail in Jodhpur before being granted bail. Criminal Case Booked Against Shoaib Malik, Charged With Cruelty and Cheating

HYDERABAD: The Shoaib Malik-Ayesha Siddiqui tangle turned murkier on Sunday with the latter slapping serious charges against the Pakistani cricketer with the police. Acting on the complaint filed late in the afternoon, the Banjara Hills police registered cases against Malik under sections 498A (subjecting married woman to cruelty), 420 (cheating) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC. Police said Ayesha has alleged that Shoaib married her, then harassed her over petty issues and later denied the nikah ever took place. Now, the complaint says, Shoaib is trying to marry again without her consent. Ayesha also alleged that Shoaib had offered her $1 million to keep the wedding under wraps and threatened to take her life in case she went to the media. A copy of the nikahnama was attached to the complaint, which was signed by Ayesha and brought to the police by her father. Arshad Warsi reacts to the trailer of ‘Jolly LLB 2’

Soon after the success of 'Jolly LLB' the makers had announced a sequel to the movie. While Arshad Warsi was to play the protagonist in the sequel, the makers later replaced him with Akshay Kumar as they wanted a bigger star this time. The trailer of the movie was released on Monday and the next day Arshad Warsi took to Twitter to give his best to Akshay and Huma Qureshi saying, "Finally saw the trailer of 'Jolly LLB2'.
