Sayali Bhagat Injured at Car Racing Event, A Trainer Falls to Death at the Same Event

A young bungee jumping trainer fell to death while performing a stunt and Bollywood actress Sayali Bhagat suffered fractures in a car racing event within hours of opening of the Great Adventure Mall by Union minister Subodh Kant Sahay in Greater Noida on Saturday.

The bungee jumping trainer, identified as Shailendra Kumar (25), met with gruesome death when the rope supporting him snapped near the seventh floor of the Great Adventure Mall, police said.

Horrified onlookers saw Kumar hurtling to death from that height when he was trying to perform the stunt.

He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.

28-year-old acress Sayali Bhagat was driving a jeep which suddenly overturned and she suffered a hairline fracture in her hand.

After first aid, she was taken to a hospital in Delhi by the organizers of the adventure sports.

"We are investigating how the incidents took place--whether safety measures were taken or not for such events", said a police officer.

Bhagat was last seen in Ghost opposite Shiney Ahuja.She has worked in films like The Train, Halla Bol, Jail and Naughty @ 40.
