The remake of Zanjeer starring telugu star Ram Charan Teja and Priyanka Chopra went on floors on 13th April 2012 on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi. Ram Charan Teja who is the son of telugu superstar Chiranjeevi, will be making his bollywood debut with this film. The original film marked the arrival of superstar Amitabh Bachchan as the angry young man.
