Alia Bhatt Wows in Traditional Saree at Kajol and Rani Mukerji's Durga Puja Pandal

Mumbai: The ongoing Durga Puja festivities in Mumbai were lit up by a host of Bollywood stars, but it was actress Alia Bhatt who captured the spotlight with her elegant and traditional appearance at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal, an annual celebration hosted by the Mukerji family, including cousins Kajol and Rani Mukerji.

An Unforgettable Festive Look

Alia Bhatt embraced the festive spirit in a gorgeous ensemble that blended tradition with delicate grace. The actress was seen wearing a Pista Green Dhakai Jamdani Saree by designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.

Movie Reviews:

The beautiful Jamdani weave, often considered the pride of Bengal's textile heritage, was paired with a sophisticated full-sleeved ivory chikankari blouse featuring a plunging neckline. To complete her festive look, Alia accessorized with delicate heirloom earrings, a classic red bindi, and a set of red glass bangles, lending a perfect Bengali touch to her attire. Her hair was styled in soft waves, and her makeup was kept minimal, letting the traditional outfit shine.

Warm Moments and Celebrity Meet-Ups

The actress's visit was filled with warm exchanges with the hosts and fellow celebrities. Alia was welcomed by director Ayan Mukerji and was later seen sharing a warm hug with Rani Mukerji inside the pandal.

Alia also treated her fans to a cheerful selfie on her social media, featuring Rani Mukerji, Ayan Mukerji, and Kajol’s sister, Tanishaa Mukerji, perfectly capturing the close-knit celebratory atmosphere. She captioned the picture with a heartfelt message: "Light. Love. Shakti."

Actress Handles Fan Frenzy with Grace

The crowd's excitement upon seeing the star was palpable. Videos from the pandal have since gone viral, showing a moment when a fan aggressively tried to hold Alia’s arm to force a picture. However, Alia handled the situation with her usual composure, kindly asking her bodyguards to be gentle with the crowd, stating, "Aap dhakka mat karo" (Please don't push). Her calm response earned widespread praise from netizens for her humility and patience.

Alia's visit follows that of her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, who also offered his prayers at the same pandal a day earlier, making the Mukerji family's puja a major star-studded affair this festive season.
