On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, the couple visited the revered spiritual leader Premanand Ji Maharaj at his ashram, Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj, in Vrindavan.

This marks their third visit to the spiritual guru this year, reinforcing their deep-rooted connection to the path of Bhakti (devotion).

A Soulful Dialogue: "Hum Aapke Hain" Says Anushka Sharma

The highlight of the visit was an intimate Ekantik Vartalaap (private spiritual conversation). In a viral video shared by the ashram’s official handle, Bhajan Marg, Anushka and Virat are seen sitting humbly on the floor, dressed in simple attire, with tilaks on their foreheads.

During the conversation, a visibly emotional Anushka Sharma expressed her deep faith, saying:

"Hum aapke hain Maharaj Ji, aur aap humare." (We belong to you, Maharaj Ji, and you belong to us.)

Premanand Ji Maharaj, known for his profound yet simple teachings, responded by expanding their perspective toward the Divine:

"We all belong to Shri Ji (Radha Rani). We are all under one blue canopy—the sky. We are all His children."

  • Work as Worship: He advised them to treat their professional fields-cricket and cinema-as a form of service to God (Sewa).

  • Detachment from Ego: Maharaj Ji urged them to seek the "True Father" (God) over worldly comforts. He remarked that once one truly desires God, all worldly happiness automatically falls at their feet.
  • The Chain of Guidance: He explained that spiritual growth is like holding hands in a chain-the seeker holds the Guru’s hand, and the Guru holds the hand of the Divine.

For "Virushka," 2025 has been a year of significant transitions and frequent retreats to Vrindavan:

January 2025: The couple visited the ashram with their children, Vamika and Akaay, seeking blessings for the new year.

May 2025: They returned just a day after Virat Kohli announced his emotional retirement from Test cricket, seeking guidance for his next chapter.

December 2025: Their latest visit follows their return from the UK. It comes just before Virat joins the Delhi squad for the Vijay Hazare Trophy starting December 24.

Interestingly, the visit coincided with global football icon Lionel Messi’s much-publicized tour of India. While many celebrities flocked to meet the football star, Kohli and Anushka chose the quiet lanes of Vrindavan.
