Priyanka Chopra's Grandmother Passes Away
Priyanka Chopra is heartbroken after her paternal grandmom passed away. The actress who was shooting in Coorg for Vishal Bhardwaj's Saat Khoon Maaf got the news of her grandma's demise on Sunday night.
Priyanka posted on her Twitter account today (May 4), "Hi guys. Lost my dadi day before. Had to fly in to delhi urgently.. Its so tough losing grandparents. First my nana and now dadi. RIP dadi."
“It’s so strange. The entire family had gathered together in Delhi a month ago when I got the National award. That had made my grandma so happy. Little did we know it was the last time I’d get to see her,” Priyanka Chopra had told a close friend, according to some media reports.
PC was very close to her Dadi. After finding out about her death, she rushed to Delhi to be by her dad's side. Fortunately, she had got a chance to spend some time with her grand mom a couple of weeks before her passing away. Priyanka will return to Coorg and resume shoot in some days.
