Aishwarya has often been criticised for favouring western couture over Indian ensembles during her much publicised stints on the French Riviera but Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was spotted in a traditional outfit on day six of the 63rd Cannes film festival 2010. On day 6 of the ongoing Cannes Film Festival Aishwarya finally donned a sari for the premiere of the film Outrage. Aishwarya's Sari look at Cannes 2010 is a hit. The 36-year-old wore a creation by Kolkata-based designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

Giving her company on the red carpet was husband Abhishek Bachchan in a tuxedo, Vikram and the team of her film Raavan.

The 36-year-old wore a creation by Kolkata-based designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. She had earlier chosen a sari by the same designer for her appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

'I have given her many outfits for her stint at Cannes this year because she wanted to wear something Indian this time but I am not sure which dress will she be wearing,' Sabyasachi is quoted in the media.

Ash was on the red carpet with her fully embroidered saree teamed with a very simple blouse. All eyes were on her delicate, beautifully crafted Sabyasachi Mukherjee saree and Ash looked beautiful with minimal accessories and striking eye make-up.

Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state. The state government challenged his acquittal; it wants him to be imprisoned to serve the rest of his sentence - after being convicted in 2007 for hunting down and killing the chinkaras, he was awarded a one-year prison term and a five-year prison term respectively. He then spent a week in jail in Jodhpur before being granted bail.
