Sonam and Ayesha first met a year and a half ago at the Dubai Fim Festival through a mutual friend. And since then the star has worn Ayesha’s designs and even tweeted about it.
And what does Ayesha have to say about working with Sonam on ‘Aisha’? "It was such a wonderful experience! She is such an easy person to work with, and naturally stylish, so it was a real pleasure.” Ayesha added, “Also, both Sonam and I are very much alike, so she really understood the style, and we had a lot of fun working on the looks! I can't wait to see the movie!"
We can’t wait to see it either. ‘Aisha’ is based on Jane Austen’s classic ‘Emma’, and sees the setting moved to the world of upper class Delhi. So Aisha (played by Sonam) is a girl who thinks that everyone's business is her business. What happens when she meets Arjun (played by Abhay Deol). It could be a lot of fun romance!
