Trade analysts have already given their verdict. With the occupancy rate for the film being 90 to 95 percent across the country, they have described ‘Rajneeti’ as super hit.
Inspired from the epic tale of Mahabharata, the film effectively captures the murky world of Indian politics. The film has a powerful cast of Nana Patekar, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpai, and Ajay Devgan.

Being part of one of the biggest hits of the year, the cast and crew celebrated the success of their film at a suburban hotel on Wednesday.
Prakash Jha, in an upbeat mood, was seen welcoming his guests. Alyque Padamsee, accompanied by his daughter Shazahn Padamsee, was spotted congratulating Jha. Ranbir Kapoor, who is often seen solo at parties, had his proud parents Neetu and Rishi Kapoor joining him in his celebrations.
Bonding with each other were Ayub Khan and Ravi Kissen. Even Kailash Kher and Mohit Chauhan were also spotted having a good time. Karan Nath, Piyush Jha, Ketan Mehta, Anoop Soni, Sudhir Mishra, Ramesh Sippy and wife Kiran Juneja were some of the other guests who dropped in to wish the cast and crew of the film.
‘Rajneeti’ highly appreciated
‘Rajneeti has been appreciated equally by critics and the trade pundits, who have applauded the political content of the film.
The theatre owners themselves are appreciating the content of ‘Rajneeti’ and so are the viewers, who have described it as a film that captures the heart of Indian political life.
In the weekends the film has proved to be a top grosser, as multiplexes and theatres in the country witnessed thousands of cine lovers thronging to the halls to watch ‘Rajneeti’.
