IIFA 2010 Cricket Match Between Bollywood Stars and (Vs) Sri Lankan Cricketers/Celebrities (Pictures)

June 4 2010: A celebrity cricket match named 'Cricket for Change' was held today in parallel to the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards at the Sinhala Sports Club grounds amidst massive cricket and movie fans flocked to see their favorite stars perform.

As the teams led by Sri Lanka captain Kumara Sangakkara, Hrithik Roshan and Suniel Shetty played cricket many Bollywood stars entertained the crowd shaking hands, signing autographs and posing for pictures.

Sangakkara's team beat Sunil Shetty's team first in a 10 over match and then beat Hrithik Roshan's team in an eight over match.

Political stars also shined among the movie stars as Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa's son Hambanthota district MP Namal Rajapaksa opened batting for the team led by Kumara Sangakkara while Indian MP Shashi Tharoor played for the team captained by Hrithik Roshan.

The charity cricket match was held to raise funds for the welfare of children affected by war.
