48 Crore First Weekend Box Office Collections For Dabangg
Salman Khan's Dabangg collects more than 48 Crore during the First Weekend of its release at the Box Office, breaks 3 Idiots' opening record by 10 crores: Dabangg has obliterated all weekend collections to shreds by collecting around 48 crore nett as per early estimates. The film industry has seen nothing like this before over the first weekend.

Three Idiots' 38 crore nett three day weekend which was looked at as being earth shattering, now seems small in comparison with Dabangg's box office record.
Dabangg has broken every record in the book be it single screen or multiplex in every centre be it A,B, C or D centre. Mass circuit like Bihar or class circuit like Mysore its the same everywhere.
CI the industry barometer for single screen business had a 1.98 crore nett weekend (Three Idiots - 1.36 crore nett) while East Punjab the barometer for multiplex business was 4.43 crore nett (Three Idiots - 3.22 crore nett).
on Friday the Dabangg collected Rs 145 million (Rs 14.50 crore), whereas on Saturday the collections stood at Rs 160 million (Rs 16 crore). Sunday saw the movie performing even better with net collections of approximately Rs 175 million (Rs 17.50 crore).

Meanwhile Salman's brother and Dabangg producer, Arbaaz Khan tweeted to thank everybody for the success of Dabnagg.
