During the 'Da-Bangg Tour' in Qatar, Salman Khan spoke about veteran actor Dharmendra, who was recently discharged from the hospital after a health issue and Wishes Veteran Star a Speedy Recovery.

Mumbai, India – Superstar Salman Khan, known for his deep ties within the Hindi film industry, recently offered a heartfelt tribute to veteran actor Dharmendra, calling him his "father" and his original bodybuilding idol. The emotional comments were made during the recent 'Da-Bangg Tour' event in Qatar, where Salman wished the senior actor a swift return to full health following a recent hospital visit.

Salman Khan's Admiration for Dharmendra

While attending the event, an influencer asked Salman Khan about the figures who inspired his legendary dedication to fitness and bodybuilding in his formative years. Salman named the 'He-Man' of Bollywood, Dharmendra, as his bodybuilding idols, saying on  Dharmendra:

"Mere aane se pehle ek hi shaks the, woh hain Dharam ji (Before I came, there was only one person and that was Dharam ji)," Salman stated, establishing Dharmendra's pioneering status in the realm of physique and on-screen machismo.

The 'Dabangg' star then expressed his deep affection and respect, stating for Dharamji stating.

“He is my father, that’s the end. I love that man and I just hope that he will come back,” Salman emotionally declared, referring to Dharmendra's recent health scare.

Dharmendra's Recent Health Scare

Dharmendra, 89, was recently admitted to a hospital in Mumbai after experiencing back pain. Although he was quickly discharged and confirmed to be doing well, the news prompted an outpouring of concern from the film fraternity and fans alike.

Salman Khan was one of the first industry colleagues to visit the veteran at the hospital earlier in the week.

The Affection Between Salman and Dharamji is Mutual

The feeling of fatherly love is clearly mutual. Dharmendra has often expressed his affection for Salman, even referring to him as his "third son" during a special appearance on the reality show 'Bigg Boss,' which Salman hosts. Their mutual respect and love are a touching example of the close relationships that often blossom across generations in Bollywood.

Salman Khan was among the celebrities who visited Dharmendra at the hospital earlier that week.
