Kareena Kapoor Khan looked gorgeous in a red bodycon dress at Soha Ali Khan’s book launch.


It was Soha Ali Khan’s turn to take the centrestage on Tuesday as she debuted as an author at the launch of her book, The Perils of Being Moderately Famous. However, her sister-in-law, Kareena Kapoor Khan almost stole her thunder on the big night with nothing but a red dress.

Kareena, while looking a bit out of place with her choice of a bright, sparkly outfit at a formal event, stunned everyone at the launch. The dress was designed by talented fashion designer Bibhu Mohapatra and styled by Tanya Ghavri.

Not just Kareena, but the entire Pataudi clan turned up at the event to show their support for Soha’s latest venture. Her mother and veteran actor Sharmila Tagore, brother and actor Saif Ali Khan, husband and actor Kunal Kemmu and sister Saba Ali Khan joined her on stage as she revealed her book to the world.

Soha wore a cute peplum top with denims and Kunal kept it simple in chinos. Saif wore his favourite short-kurta-with-churidar-and-jacket combo while Sharmila wore a gorgeous striped saree.

Earlier on Tuesday, Soha posted a picture of her daughter Inaaya reading her book. “Sneak peek!! Guess who’s reading an advance copy of #theperilsofbeingmoderatelyfamous,” she captioned the photo.

Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state. The state government challenged his acquittal; it wants him to be imprisoned to serve the rest of his sentence - after being convicted in 2007 for hunting down and killing the chinkaras, he was awarded a one-year prison term and a five-year prison term respectively. He then spent a week in jail in Jodhpur before being granted bail. While finding him not guilty, the High Court had said there was no evidence to prove that the animals who were found dead were shot by Mr Khan's licensed gun.
