This is how Salman Khan is planning to celebrate his 52nd birthday

After close friends Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan is set to turn 52 this December. If Aamir celebrated his birthday with media , SRK threw a big bash for close friends and family in Alibaug. While the same was expected from Salman, Bollywood's Bajrangi Bhaijaan has other plans.

Unlike the last few years, Salman won't have a big bash at his residence. Instead, the Wanted actor is taking his family out on a vacation for his 52nd birthday.
Revealing his birthday plans, he told Bollywood Hungama, "Me and my family are going out this year. There's no birthday-shurday this year."

With his birthday on December 27, it seems Khan-daan is planning to ring in the New Year a little early this year. However, Salman did not disclose the location, the family is definitely flying out for the birthday as well as New Year celebration.

On the work front, Salman is awaiting the release of Tiger Zinda Hai. After a gap of five years, Salman and Katrina are reuniting on the big screen. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Tiger Zinda Hai is a sequel to 2012 film Ek Tha Tiger. The action thriller will hit the screens on December 22.

Some Unknown Facts About the VEER 'Pindaris'!

-

Anil Sharma's epic musical drama, VEER, starring Salman Khan in the title role of a prince, releases this Friday. The film set in the British Raj, is a period costume drama and has been promoted as a film based on fiction, rather than facts, much in the same way that Anil's Sharma's GADAR-EK PREM KATHA was, and even the film that released alongside GADAR, Aamir Khan's Oscar nominee, LAGAAN. VEER's love story may be pure fiction but the tribe 'Pindari' isn't. Salman is shown to belong to the tribe called 'Pindari' which came into existence almost 200 years ago, during the end of the Mughal dynastic rule. They were warriors and as shown in the film were skilled in sword fighting, horse riding and were full of courage and valour, quite similar to the Rajputs. Singh is Bliing's opening credits roll against a remixed version of Sneha Khanwalkar's fantastically peppy "Tung Tung". We see a delirious Kumar cracking out bhangra moves with such gusto that you might just feel your muscles ache on his behalf. There's only one word to describe Kumar's performance as Raftaar Singh: octane. Whether he's being the stereotypical empty-headed sardar or busting out dance moves or fighting bad guys, his energy is phenomenal. Kumar is proof that ageing is a wondrous thing. He didn't have even a fraction of this onscreen charm when he was in the prime of his youth. It's not just that Kumar looks infinitely better — the death of the Nineties' mullet has been a boon i...
