Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra Launch Their Nightclub Royalty in Mumbai

Shilpa Shetty and Raj recently announced the opening of their new nightclub called 'Royalty' in Bandra, Mumbai. Shilpa and Raj may be busy touring with their IPL team- Rajasthan Royals but that hasn't stopped them from expanding their other business interests.The high end club is located at the same place where popular hotspot 'Poison' was earlier situated.

After their closely fought match against the Mumbai Indians on Saturday, Shilpa and Raj threw a lavish bash at their new club Royalty. The bash saw some bigwigs in attendance including Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Harman Baweja, Ameesha, Kabir Bedi, Shamitha Shetty and Jackie Shroff.

Shilpa and Raj had bought the club, Poison in Bandra and planned to re-open it by the name Royalty. One will have to wait and watch if this nightclub turns out to be a hotspot for Bollywood's party animals in the days to come.

Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state. The state government challenged his acquittal; it wants him to be imprisoned to serve the rest of his sentence - after being convicted in 2007 for hunting down and killing the chinkaras, he was awarded a one-year prison term and a five-year prison term respectively. He then spent a week in jail in Jodhpur before being granted bail. While finding him not guilty, the High Court had said there was no evidence to prove that the animals who were found dead were shot by Mr Khan's licensed gun. Criminal Case Booked Against Shoaib Malik, Charged With Cruelty and Cheating

HYDERABAD: The Shoaib Malik-Ayesha Siddiqui tangle turned murkier on Sunday with the latter slapping serious charges against the Pakistani cricketer with the police. Acting on the complaint filed late in the afternoon, the Banjara Hills police registered cases against Malik under sections 498A (subjecting married woman to cruelty), 420 (cheating) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC. Police said Ayesha has alleged that Shoaib married her, then harassed her over petty issues and later denied the nikah ever took place. Now, the complaint says, Shoaib is trying to marry again without her consent. Ayesha also alleged that Shoaib had offered her $1 million to keep the wedding under wraps and threatened to take her life in case she went to the media. A copy of the nikahnama was attached to the complaint, which was signed by Ayesha and brought to the police by her father. Arshad Warsi reacts to the trailer of ‘Jolly LLB 2’

Soon after the success of 'Jolly LLB' the makers had announced a sequel to the movie. While Arshad Warsi was to play the protagonist in the sequel, the makers later replaced him with Akshay Kumar as they wanted a bigger star this time. The trailer of the movie was released on Monday and the next day Arshad Warsi took to Twitter to give his best to Akshay and Huma Qureshi saying, "Finally saw the trailer of 'Jolly LLB2'. Love the new Jolly. Looking forward to it, all the best to Huma Qureshi and Akshay Kumar."
