Names of Terr*r Organizations Whose Camps India Destroyed in Operation Sindoor

Operation Sindoor was conducted by the Indian Armed Forces on May 7, 2025, targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) in response to the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, 2025, which killed 26 people.

Nine terror camps belonging to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), and Hizbul Mujahideen were destroyed in the operation. Here are the names and locations of the terror organization camps that were destroyed:


Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT):

Markaz Taiba, Muridke (Pakistan): This was the headquarters of LeT and a major training center. Mumbai attack perpetrator Ajmal Kasab reportedly received training here.

Gulpur Camp, Kotli (PoK): 

This camp, located 30 km from the Line of Control (LoC), was a base for LeT terrorists involved in attacks in the Rajouri-Poonch area, including the 2023 Poonch attack and the 2024 pilgrimage bus attack.

Abbas Camp, Kotli (PoK): 

Situated 13 km from the LoC, this was a key LeT camp known for training suicide bombers.

Sawai Nala Camp, Muzaffarabad (PoK): 

This was a significant LeT training facility in the Tangdhar Sector, 30 km from the LoC.

Markaz Ahle Hadith, Barnala (PoK):

Located 9 km from the LoC in the Bhimber area, this camp was used by LeT for weapon handling, IED marking, and jungle survival training.

Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM):

Markaz Subhan, Bahawalpur (Pakistan): This served as the JeM headquarters and a major center for recruitment, training, and indoctrination.

Syedna Belal Camp, Muzaffarabad (PoK):
This JeM camp was used as a staging area and provided training in weapons, explosives, and jungle survival techniques for operations across the LoC in Kashmir.

Sarjal Camp, Sialkot (Pakistan):
Located 6 km from the international border, this camp was used to train terrorists involved in attacks in the Samba-Kathua region.

Hizbul Mujahideen:

Mehmoona Joya Camp, Sialkot (Pakistan):
 
Situated 12-18 km from the international border, this was a key Hizbul Mujahideen training facility and control center for spreading terror in the Kathua-Jammu region.

Markaz Raheel Shahid, Kotli (PoK):
This camp, located 30 km from the LoC, was used to train Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists, especially in Border Action Team (BAT) and sniping attacks.

These strikes were conducted in a swift 25-minute operation using precision-guided munitions, and the Indian government stated that the targets were chosen based on credible intelligence to avoid civilian casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure.
