Nach Baliye 8: Do you know how much the celebrity couples are getting paid?
Nach Baliye season 8 is all set to begin and celebrity couples have already started their rehearsals. While the confirmed list of contestants is creating a lot of buzz, many reports have emerged about the big fat cheques they are receiving for their dance stint.
According to sources, the highest paid jodi this year is comedian Bharti Singh and her boyfriend, writer Haarsh Limbachiyaa. The two are apparently charging Rs15 lakh per week to be on the show.
Earlier, there were rumours that real-life couple, actors Sanaya Irani and Mohit Sehgal were the highest paid on the show, but as per sources, the two are collectively charging Rs 7 lakh per week.
Actors Divyanka Tripathi and her husband Vivek Dahiya, who tied the knot last year in July, will also be participating in Nach Baliye this year. Sources reveal that the couple will get Rs 10 lakh per week.
Actors Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim, who plan to get married next year, are yet another popular jodi to be seen on the dance reality show. The telly couple is charging Rs 6 lakh per week.
Other contestants include RJ (and ex Bigg Boss contestant) Pritam Singh and wife Amanjjot, who are charging Rs 2.5 lakh per week, whereas Bigg Boss 10 contestant Monalisa and her husband Vikrant Singh will be paid Rs 70,000 per week.
The dance show, which has Sonakshi Sinha, choreographer Terence Lewis and filmmaker Mohit Suri as its judges, will go on air on April 2.
