Parineeti croons her first song from Meri Pyari Bindu called Mana Ki Hum Yaar Nahin

The makers of Meri Pyari Bindu have released the first song from the film, even before the trailer and it has been sung by Parineeti Chopra. Her husky yet powerful voice impresses.

The current crop of actors in Bollywood is really multi-talented -- they do not just deliver dialogues and leave -- most of them like to be involved in the process of filmmaking. Some are interested in the script, some in direction while quite a few of them are interested in music. From Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt to Shraddha Kapoor, heroines are turning singers. Parineeti Chopra now joins the league with her latest film opposite Ayushmann Khuranna - Meri Pyari Bindu.

The makers of the film have released the first song from the film, even before the trailer. It has been sung by Parineeti. She certainly has a husky, powerful voice that leaves an impact. Titled Mana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin, Kausar Munir has penned down the soulful lyrics while the music composed by Sachin Jigar.

Produced by Yash Raj films’ and directed by Akshay Roy, Meri Pyaari Bindu has Parineeti playing Bindu, an aspiring singer.

Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state. The state government challenged his acquittal; it wants him to be imprisoned to serve the rest of his sentence - after being convicted in 2007 for hunting down and killing the chinkaras, he was awarded a one-year prison term and a five-year prison term respectively. He then spent a week in jail in Jodhpur before being granted bail. While finding him not guilty, the High Court had said there was no evidence to prove that the animals who were found dead were shot by Mr Khan's licensed gun. Box Office Report of Dum Maro Dum : 'Dum Maaro Dum' opens to dull houses. Despite the fact that Friday is a National Holiday, DUM MAARO DUM opened below the mark at the box office in the first and afternoon shows on friday morning at major centres of the country. Of course, the opening trends of DUM MAARO DUM were better than Abhishek Bachchan's last release GAME, but that's no compliment. The occupancy at multiplexes was slightly better, especially at metros, in 30% to 35% range, while single screens were between 10% - 15% - 20%. The average opening, thus, stands at 25% - 30%, which is poor. In view of the fact that it's a National Holiday, the morning and noon shows of DUM MAARO DUM should've started on 50% - 60% note at least. The terrific promotions as well as no major opposition to contend with are two factors that should have gone in its favor.
