Half Girlfriend poster: Did Shraddha-Arjun Kapoor just strike an Aashiqui 2 pose?

Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor star opposite each other for the first time in Half Girlfriend. The poster of the Mohit Suri-directed film was revealed on Tuesday. The poster looks like an reversed version of Aashiqui 2 poster.

The motion poster of Mohit Suri’s next, Half Girlfriend, was revealed at an event in Mumbai on Tuesday. The film is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s best selling novel by the same name.

Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor star opposite each other for the first time in this romantic story.

‘As I observe young people, I saw a lot of situations where people were more than friends but not quite in a Relationship. When you find someone special but you are not yet fully together. I felt there was something needed between a friend and girl friend. Hence, Half Girlfriend was born,” Chetan Bhagat said at the launch. His previous screen adaptation 2 States, was a blockbuster.

“A love that may be somewhere in between, but a love that still is unconditional. It’s a take on the unexplored, Grey area of relationships today. What also makes it special is a collaboration between me and Ekta after Ek Villian.” director Mohit Suri said.
