Kapil-Sunil spat: AIB denies making an offer to Sunil Grover
Comedian and All India Bakchod member Rohan Joshi refutes reports that the group has approached Sunil Grover to team up with them after his fight with Kapil Sharma.
Just as everyone was getting excited about comic group All India Bakchod (AIB) making an offer to Sunil Grover to be part of their group, the news has turned out to be false. Comedian Rohan Joshi, who is part of AIB, trashed the reports.
“No, that was just a joke at the end of On Air with AIB. Nobody has asked Sunil to be part of AIB. That was just a joke, and everybody has taken it seriously. It’s so funny to us. People have gotten so excited about this,” says Rohan.
The latest episode in the second season of On Air With AIB ended with Rohan and Ashish Shakya saying, “Sunil Grover, if you’re watching this and want to work with a smart, funny comedy group jahan pe koi bhi mard salwar pehen ke nahi aata, toh please phone karo humko, hum flight pe sirf pillow phenkte hai, chappal nahi.”
Buzz around Sunil Grover’s exit from comedian Kapil Sharma’s show started when it was reported that the two had a scuffle during their Melbourne-Mumbai flight on March 17.
Both Kapil and Sunil wrote about the fiasco on their social media accounts. Ever since, Grover , Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar have boycotted the show.
On Tuesday morning, Sunil uploaded a long post on his Twitter account, talking about his future plans , without any mention of The Kapil Sharma Show.
