There will be only one episode of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ this weekend!

For all those who were eagerly waiting to get their dose of laughs and gags this weekend in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, here is some bad news for you. The bad news is that, this week will see ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ being aired only on Saturday and not on Sunday. There are too many reasons that are afloat for this sudden move.


One of the reasons cited is that, since this week happens to be the grand finale of the popular singing reality ‘Indian Idol 9’, it has been allotted the Sunday’s time slot of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Another reason cited is that, the dismal TRPs generated by last week’s episode (that featured Raju Shrivastav, Ahsaan Qureshi and Sunil Pal) have made the show’s makers to have a serious thinking about the show’s format.

Amidst all this, a reliable source from Sony TV told Bollywood Hungama that, one cannot deny the fact that the sudden and untimely exit of Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar has really affected the show’s TRPs. ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, which was Sony TV’s flagship show, has suddenly become nothing less than a laughing stock before everyone alike. And with the grand finale of ‘Indian Idol 9’ happening this Sunday, Kapil Sharma and Sony TV officials have yet another week to convince the trio of Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar to return back to the show. As for this week, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ will be an integration episode with Sony TV’s upcoming show ‘Sabse Bada Kalakar’.

Even though Sunil Grover has not spoken about his comeback decision in detail to anyone, whatever little that he has spoken to the media, is a crystal clear indication of his decision of not coming back to the show.
