Zayed Khan Reminisces About Being a Loyal Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Fan: "She Was Such a Professional and Beautiful Lady"
Mumbai, India – June 20, 2025 – Actor Zayed Khan recently opened up about his long-standing admiration for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, revealing he was a loyal fan of the Bollywood superstar even before they shared screen space in the 2005 film 'Shabd'. In a candid interview with TV host and podcaster Siddharth Kannan, Khan shared his delightful fanboy moments and lauded Aishwarya's professionalism and grace.
Zayed confessed that his admiration for Aishwarya dates back to her Miss World days. "I was a fan of Ash when she became Miss World," he stated. Going a step further, he admitted to keeping a picture of the beauty queen in his locker room, thinking to himself, "'This is a really gorgeous woman.'"

So, when the opportunity arose to work alongside her in 'Shabd', Zayed's excitement knew no bounds. "When I heard the script and they said that Ash is in the film, I was like, 'Woah, where do I sign?'" he recalled.
Sharing his experience of collaborating with Aishwarya, Zayed showered her with praise for her seamless approach to work. "I had a beautiful experience working with her. She is such a wonderful co-star because she really knows how to play with you," he emphasized.
"Sometimes you just see actors take so much time and then come, and there'll be drama. The actual work suffers while everything else is taken care of," Zayed explained. He admitted that he anticipated it would be challenging to get over his "fan moment" with Aishwarya. However, her down-to-earth demeanor immediately put him at ease. "With Ash, I thought it would be so difficult to get over my fan moment, but she just came in and said, 'Hi, do you want to do rehearsals together?' I was like, 'This is too cool. She was a natural filter. God bless her.'"
