Kareena baby name: Rishi Kapoor lashes at Twitterati for outraging over Taimur Ali Khan
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, who welcomed their baby boy on December 20, earned the wrath of many for naming the little one Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi. Twitterati was aghast that they have named their son after Timur, a barbaric ruler who had invaded India in the 14th century. The Turco-Mongol ruler is often associated with the widespread massacre that happened under his reign.
Kareena's uncle and veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who never shies away from speaking his mind, took to Twitter last night and slammed the haters, saying that it was the parents' wish to name him so and it had nothing to do with anyone else.
The 'Kapoor & Sons' actor tweeted, "Why are people so bothered what the parents want to name their child, please? Mind your business, it's got nothing to do with you. Parents wish!"
