"What's in a name?", you might ask. Well, ask social media users who have had a busy last 24 hours decoding the name of Saif-Kareena's newborn child and they are likely to tell you what the fuss is about.

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan's son Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi became a star the moment he was born. While B-town celebs have been showering the new parents with love and congratulatory messages, Twitterati got busy taking wild guesses as to what the name 'Taimur' really means.

The word 'Taimur' in Arabic means Iron. Also, 14th century's Turco-Mongol conqueror and the founder of the Timurid Empire in Persia, went by the name Timur.

#TaimurAliKhanPataudi was one of the top trends on Twitter, in just an hour after his birth and the self-appointed social media critics were trolling the name.

Kareena had said during one of her recent interviews that Saif reads a lot of historial literature and he would want a name seeped in history for his child, so the name Taimur comes as no surprise.
